In February 2022, YMB were invited to negotiate a Contract to Fit Out a 45-meter Luxury Charter Traditional Indonesian Phinisi that was under construction in Bira, Sulawesi using traditional wooden Boat Building Methods. Our selection was based upon reports of work we had successfully undertaken previously on MV Galileo.
The Interior Design undertaken was by Dierdre Rennier Associates from Cape Town and Singapore involved the Fitting Out of 7 En-Suite Staterooms, Lounge Dining and Public Areas including Corridors and Staircases.
In July a YMB Team accompanied the Owners to Sulawesi to survey the hull before she sailed to Serangan Harbour Bali in August where the fit out work would be undertaken.

The Contract signed with YMB included Built-In Bed and Headboard Units, Salon Furniture, False Ceilings and Beams, Doors and Frames, Wall Paneling and Wall Finishes, Lower Deck Staircase, Vanities including marble tops & mirrors, Wall Tiling, Bathroom Wall Cladding, Built-In Wardrobes, Lower Deck Hull Cladding, Cushions & Throw Pillows in QDF and covers in Sunbrella fabric.
Due to tight program, close liaison was essential with the Owners in Jakarta and New York, Segara Marine, the Yacht Charter Managers in Bali and YMB Team managed by weekly Zoom meetings throughout the fit-out period.
The installation commenced in December and was completed in July 2023 when Celestia Sailed on its first Charter
